"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
Ecclesiastes 4:12
Ecclesiastes 4:12
Our family has been serving the greater Birmingham community since 1939; and, this is where we raise our children, go to church, work and live life day in and day out. Providing home care services and health care for individuals and their families has always been a great blessing to our family. Meeting the needs of others that they themselves cannot meet is an honor. Great joy has come to us through the friendships and memories that have been established. In a God given desire to be good stewards of the gospel, as well as, the education, skills and resources God has entrusted to us, we sought through prayer and wise Spirit filled counsel how we could best serve others in a way that would glorify God. The Lord began to cultivate in our hearts a special concern for widows, particularly elderly widows living with chronic healthcare issues, and with limited resources. The Lord led us to establish Abiding Hearts Ministry to be the tangible means by which we can bring the love of Jesus Christ to many people who live all around us. As ambassadors for Christ we believe that we have been called to be the hands and feet of Jesus, to display His heart to the world and to share the truth of life that can only be found in Him. So with the blessing and assurance of God's guiding Word, with full assurance in the promise of victory and with the unfailing promise of God's presence with us we move forward each day compelled by His great love. Thank you for allowing our family the great privilege of serving you and your family.
